"The Jewell" Return to Chaos #8 "It's a camping event"
April 26th , 2008 Sat High Noon!
locality:South Haven, Kansas south of Wichita on 35 west on 166 north on 81make a left on 130th street. It's on the left "after" S. Maize rd. map1'
events: Boardercross, Practice will start Friday along with registration. Registration will end at 11:00am “sharp” Saturday morning. Do not be late! Rider meeting will commence at 11:00am. Race will
start at 12:00pm with AMs up first. "There will be a fee for parking and overnight camping" but it will be cheap. Hamburgers will be served at a concession stand at the event. !
“New and really improved 7ft wood / steal Big Air kicker” , really big fires, Possible Team DBX,
This year’s event will revolve around camping, parting and having fun at the track! That’s right at the track. And the use of fire works is allowed! But parking restriction must
be enforced. No driving out of the undesignated areas! If you plan to arrive a few days early this year expect to dig dirt and work! Most likely
if you want get to ride and you show up to the track you will end up digging. Before you
get to the track pick up your “own” water. Camping is really encouraged. This year don’t ask Zak to stay at his house. You guys will really burn out your welcome! Take a tent / sleeping bag on the plane. Rent a car stay at the hotels!

Airport:" Wichita" and its about a 45 min drive south to get to the track. Rent a car at airport it will help Zak out!

"Downieville" Dirtheads Camping/ Mountainbiking weekend and some mountainboarding to!
June 7th- Sat 2008 meet at center town 4hour parking area at 9:45
locality: Downieville, Ca
Session: 14 mile mountainbiking trail most of the info is at: Downievilleoutfitters.com. Union Flat Campground will be the Dirtheads basecamp. Link to the camp ground at UFC . It sounds like some riders will show up Friday afternoon at the camp ground. Be sure to go to the Downievilleoutfitters.com. site and register for the 11:ooam ride up that Saturday. Also if you do not have a great mountainbike rent one they are well worth it.
